                                       Koru art

In term one the class did koru art they were designed  to represent our school house Kakapo, Kiwi, Tui and Kea. The most preferred symbol on the portraits was the mangapore (hammerhead) because    it represents strength . I did my koru art  by having three hammerheads representing  kahikatea team the house leaders and kawaka team . Then I did  some koru like roots for a plant meaning that our  junior school ensures that we continue to grow as a house.By Aidan
