Aidan's Learning Conference - Term 1 2017

My learning conference went along nice and smoothly I thought because I explained quite clearly how my learning was going. I could have picked less distracting pictures for background so that as well as hearing me present my learning, my parents could read it as well.

Integrity games reflection by Aidan

Integrity games
Last term me , mac and max pieced together a game called dragon nest for the day when we along with everyone else in kahikatea team would present our game to a group of ten or so juniors and get them to play it .I thought the game was a success because they had   a jolly time running around stealing the ‘eggs’ and avoiding the ‘dragon’. We had to change the game at the last minute because some things didn’t work as we  planned such as instead of being out the people getting tagged just returned to their ‘nest’

Abseiling
By Aidan

I take a deep breath and begin my ascent ,I can hear encouraging remarks from below. I act confident but
the worms in my stomach squirm like
never  before.I breath deeply but the abhorrent feeling
settles over me.

My heart pounds it’s prisons walls.
How did I get myself into this mess? I was at the top.
my lungs splutter to a stop, my brain reminds me of all
that could go wrong.

I climbed down like an inexperienced Dog- which is to say  badly.  As soon as my  feet touch the ground my mind functions properly. Phew!
Blue
By Aidan

Blue is the mighty ocean with tales yet untold.
It is the promise of freedom with adventure far and wide.It is sky swirling with wonders to contest.

Blue is the mighty of sapphire a treasure from the depths. It is the joy of running on this very planet. It also is the symbol of infinite strength.

Blue is the colour of the flow of life. It is what we are yet to discover.yet blue to some
Is the colour of sadness. But why?
.                 Why                   .
                                                By Aidan
Why did you play not one but three mischievous  pranks. Why do you throw the platter of sweets hitting any whom you please. why do you create anarchy in the most serene places.

                                              Why.

Silently you wait to pull or strings with great finesse and drive us to the edge. Deftly you throw the bowls of soup in all but rational directions. Deviously, you plan to ruin our day with some fiendish scheme.

                                  Just because you’re feeling impish.
